Star Trek Romulan Bird of Prey, Neutral Zone Incursion Craft with Stand and Sound Effects, Collectors Series Edition No. 0028652, with Light-Up Engine Nacelles, Romulan Sounds (Bridge Interior; Phaser; Photon Torpedo, Cloaking), and Display Stand. I
ncludes the original three AAA batteries, which much to my surprise were still working (but maybe not at full strength), but because the "test it" button on the front of the box
was still sealed [
which I thought set this item apart from other items like this], I removed the ship from the box (but did not remove it from its factory plastic seal) to test the sounds and I got all four different sounds to work by pushing the four different button, with some of those buttons lighting up the nacelles. I can say that the other 12 Playmates items from this mid-1990s time period that I have on auction this week (Communicators, Phaser, Tricorders) all worked great attesting the high electronic quality of these Playmates vintage toys.  The box measures 17-in by 12-in and is 4-in deep.  Back of the box has a description of the item and shows the features of the ship and how it sits on its stand.
